COST Comments:The table below is from the Urban Transport Fact Book of Demographia. The table indicates those cities with the greatest transit usage in their core area have a negative net migration from 2000-2007. This negative net migration means: more than 4 million more people moved from these ‘higher transit use’ cities to other US areas than people moved from other areas to the transit cities.
